Microlights are goverened principally by two organisations, RAANZ and SAC, the RNZAC also has some microlight operations.
New pilots in the club are presently trained under RAANZ rules, but we welcome Microlight and Light Sport Pilots from all these Part 149 Recreational Aviation organisations to join our club in order to fly our club Recreational Aircraft, use our club facilities, hangar aircraft in our club hangars and join in our club acitivities.
All pilots must be specifically rated for the aircraft type, sign an aircraft usage agreement, and have a club approval by a club instructor which may involve a check flight.
Listed below are our currently active instructors and their affiliation to RAANZ, SAC or RNZAC. If you are new to the sport, you should choose a RAANZ instructor to give the most flexibility in your training.
